报 告 人：Dr. Lingchong YOU
L. You hold Ph. D in Chemical engineering from University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2002. He got his postdoctoral degree in biochemistry from California Institute of Technology in 2004. Now he is Paul Ruffin Scarborough Associate Professor of Engineering in the Edmund T. Pratt, Jr. School of Engineering and Associate Professor (with tenure) of Department of Biomedical Engineering and Center for Genomic and Computational Biology, Duke University.
L. You and his team mainly study in quantitative biology of bacterial antibiotic response, programming bacterial dynamics in time and space, exploring biological using engineering gene circuits, quantitative biology of bacterial physiology, signaling dynamics underlying fate decisions in mammalian cells. They have published many papers on prestigious journals, such as Science, Nature, Nature biotechnology, Nature Chemical Biology, Nature Reviews Genetics, Cell, PNAS and so on.
