Theme: The Future of Food Tech: Decoding China's Booming Food Industry through Science, Sustainability and Culture

Course Description

The Summer School aims to explore how Chinese food science impacts human health on a global scale. This includes the nutritional components of food, food safety, disease prevention and treatment, and the complex relationship between food and health. We will delve into the bioactive components in food, the impact of food processing on nutrition, and how food science innovations can promote health and prevent diseases. Additionally, we will focus on the relationship between food habits and health in different regions of the world, and how food science can be used to improve global health.

• Gathering experts and scholars from around the world to share experiences and challenges in the field of food science and health from different countries and regions ;
• By the end of this 2-week study experience, students should have basic knowledge and understanding of relationship between food science and global health, and enhance their practical skills and research capabilities in the field of food science.
