(3) Dairy Biotechnology and Development of Dairy Products

>>Education:

Professor Wu won her Ph.D. in 2007 jointly cultivated by Jiangnan University and Guelph Food Research Centre, Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC). Later, she served as an on-the-job postdoctoral fellow at Shanghai Jiao Tong University and Bright Dairy Co., Ltd. (2008-2010), and a government-sponsored visiting scholar at Guelph Food Research Center, AAFC (2013-2015).

>>Research achievements:

She is mainly engaged in the research and development of functional foods, especially complex carbohydrates, including structure, function, physical property and bioactivity. She published more than 80 papers, in addition to 12 authorized Chinese national invention patents, and won the first prize of Shanghai Science and Technology Progress Award in 2017 for "Key Technology and Industrialized Application of Quality and Bioactive Control of Natural Bioactive Polysaccharides". Her main research was supported by grants from the Nation Key Technology R&D program, NSFC, Shanghai STCSM, Shanghai NYNCW and industry.
