Research Interests:

1. Detection and subtyping of foodborne pathogenic bacteria;

2. Prevalence, persistence and stress survival of foodborne pathogenic bacteria on food chain from farm to  table

 

 

Education:

B.S. on Food Science and Technology at Huazhong Agricultural University in 1999

Ph.D. on Biomedical Engineering (Biotechnology) at Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2006

Postdoc at Martin Wiedmann’s lab of Department of Food Science, Cornell University from 2011 to 2012

 

 

Research Experience/Achievement:

She has presided over fifteen research projects, including a NSFC Fund, a NSFC Young Fund, a NSFC-Guangdong Joint Fund, a Project in the National Key R&D Program of China, a Project in the National Sci & Tech Pillar Program and several projects from Science and Technology Commission of Shanghai Municipality. She has published 72 papers (43 papers were SCI indexed), and participated in compiling 5 books. She has also taken part in applying 25 patents and 15 patents have been issued.
