Xudong LI, male, born in 1973, Associate Professor of Department of Resource and Environment, School of Agriculture and Biology, Shanghai JiaoTong University(SJTU). He has graduated from School of Resources and Environmental Sciences, Beijing University of Geosciences (Beijing) in 2003, and received Ph.D. degree in hydrology and waterresources.
From September 2003 to October 2005, he worked in College of Environmental Science and Environmental Engineering, Tongji University, as a postdoctoral researcher. From November 2005 to November 2006, he worked in University of Montpellier II, France, as another postdoctoral researcher. From March 2007 to now, he works in College of Agriculture and Biological, Shanghai Jiaotong University and is engaged in teaching and scientific research.
His main research fields includes: Water pollution control and treatment, Non-point pollution treatment and new micro-pollutants removal. In recent years, he has carried out several projects sponsored by National Natural Science Foundation of China, Shanghai Municipal Commission of Construction and Transportation, Shanghai Science and Technology Commission, Ministry of Science and Technology and so on. For example, NSFC project(50808120): "Research on new micro-pollutants PPCPs migration mechanism and removal in wetland system "; Shanghai Municipal Construction Committee Project(No.2008-002): "Research and demonstration of new countryside rural domestic sewage colletion and treatment in Shanghai"; Shanghai Science and Technology Commission project(07DZ12048): "Development and application of the energy-saving modular combined biological filter technology suitable for decentralized rural wastewater treatment". 3 Chinese invention patents, and more than 20 papers have been published.
