Professor. He received his Ph.D. in Agro-Environmental Sciences from Ehime University, Japan, finished postdoctoral studies in soil and Environmental Chemistry at Koci University, Japan. His research interests are soil ecology focused on the physio-chemical characteristics, interaction mechanisms, and environmental remediation of soil components including the pollutants and/or contaminants in soils.

Prof. HE is currently regular members of Chinese Soil Science Society, Japanese Society of Soil Science and Plant Nutrition, lnternational Union of Soil Science. he got good achievements in environmental soil sciences, and had 5 publications at international refereed journals. Peof. HE is conducting 5 research projects from Shanghai Key Projects for Basic Researches, Shanghi Key Project for Promoting Agriculture with Sciebceb abd Technology, Sino-Japanese Joint Project for Soil Ecology, etc .
